May 16 GM: Trans discussion w/ Pauline Park & Kris Hayashi

May 15, 2008

Do you know?

* What are the unique issues facing trans-identified Asian & Pacific Islander (API) folks?
* What are the current issues facing the transgender community in New York City and in the United States?
* How does the API community view transgender and gender variant folks? How about API families?

Qwave is extremely excited to have Pauline Park (Chair of the New York Association for Gender Rights Advocacy) and Kris Hayashi (Executive Director of the Audre Lorde Project) speak with us this Friday, May 16th.
