Get Reel! and Q-Wave goes to the movies [NewFest]

Come and escape from the heat wave with Q-Wave Friday June 13th when we partner with NewFest for the screening of the Japanese lesbian film “Love My Life”! Meet at the new NewFest lounge (HK Lounge, 405 W 39th Street between 9th and 10th Aves) at 7:00pm, and we’ll mosey on over for the 8:00pm movie. Don’t have a ticket yet? There are also still discount tickets available for “Drifting Flowers”. For this movie, meet at the theater at 5:15pm the day of!!
We are also partnering on “Drifting Flowers” (Taiwan, 2008) and “The Amazing Truth About Raquela” (Iceland, 2008), both showing the next day, Saturday June 14th, at 5:45pm and 8:00pm, respectively. Plus, we support “Envisioning Justice” (Taiwan & US, 2008) (listed under “Simply Love”) on Sunday June 15th at 3:30pm, a documentary on fabulous member and past speaker Pauline Park.
