Friday, August 15th: Speed-Meeting

This Friday we are bringing back another round of “Deeper Mingling,” where we adopt the idea of “speed dating” & give everyone a chance to meet & chat one-on-one with other Q-Wavers! We’re especially excited to give a warm welcome to all the new people we’ve met through the Pride & post-Pride events of June & July. It’ll be a great way to put faces to names before we continue to share e-mails, meals, and more special events over the course of the year. 
We will also take a few moments to tell you about “The Asian Pride Project,” a website / media-campaign that some Q-Wavers have already started to work on. We will be spearheading this project to promote greater *visibility of queer API in our own Asian communities, and we hope to get you excited and involved too!
And of course, we’ll all go out to have dinner together after the meeting. See you on Friday!
