January GM: TOWN MEETING w/GAPIMNY, Dari Project, SALGA, others!

Hope you all had a great holiday season, and thank you to the 50+ folks to made it to our Holiday Party at Cattyshack!
We’re planning to get 2009 started with a bang, once more collaborating with GAPIMNY, Dari Project, SALGA, and a few other local queer Asian groups for our now-annual Town Hall meeting! Come learn what each group is about, what issues or events we are each working on, and meet and mingle with new friends! As always, we will go out to dinner in a group afterwards.
When: Friday, January 16th, 2009 (our usual meeting date)
Where: the LGBT Center on West 13th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues (NOT CUNY!)
PLEASE NOTE: The meeting will be from 8:00 to 10:00, an hour later than usual, and we will meet initially in the lobby before heading up to the assigned room. If you arrive late, just check with the Front Desk for the room number (although we’ll try to get it to you by then!)
Also, this meeting will be open only to those who identify as Asian/Pacific Islander and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Gender-Nonconforming, or Two Spirit.
