Join Q-Wave to eat, drink and be merry! It’s time for our annual picnic, so pack a frisbee, nerf football, grab a friend, dust off your picnic blankets, bring some food and come meet us in the park!

Saturday, May 30th 2009 – 12:00pm – 5pm-ish (rain date of Sunday, May 31st) – Central Park (Sheep Meadow)
WHO: You, your friends, and your friends at Q-Wave!
WHAT: Food, fun, and frolic with your fellow Q-Wavers
WHEN: Saturday, May 30th @ 12pm
WHERE: Sheep Meadow in Central Park, mid-park 66th to 69th streets, we’ll try to be underneath trees along the sides.
(For those who want to meet up, we gather at the 107th Infantry Memorial at 67th Street and 5th Avenue to walk over together at 12 noon — take the 6 train to 68th street station. If you get there a little after noon and don’t see us, just head into the park. We will have red-ish balloons so you can locate us)
Drinks, cups, plates and utensils will be provided – please bring some tasty food to share! 
Invite all your family, pets & friends (asian, non-asian, queer, straight, questioning, trans, gender non-conforming), your picnic gear and yummy food and see you all soon!

Women’s Night: Shaken & Stirred Leo Bar at Asia Society & Museum

Who:: Hosted by Asia Society, OP.LYNX, Astraea & Q-Wave
Location:: Asia Society & Museum, 725 Park Ave at 70th Street, Manhattan, NY.
Admission:: No cover. Cash bar. FREE admission to the museum!

It’s Women’s Night at Asia Society’s Leo Bar
It’s cocktails, chatting and mingling in a museum! Meet and rub elbows with fun people, enjoy the free docent-lead exhibition tours, then relax and chatter the night away whilst sipping an intriguing and whimsical lychee martini!
Drink Specials on martinis, bellinis and more from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
Exhibition Tours scheduled for 7:15 PM and 7:45 PM.
