Join us Fri 4/16 for GM: Being Queer, A Place in Religion and Spirituality Part II
April 6, 2010
At our last general meeting, our panel of speakers discussed their experiences with regards to sexuality and faith. This time we’d love to open up the conversation to include some things that were brought up by you, the community. From the feedback evaluation forms, two questions were particularly prominent:
1) What struggles do we face within ourselves and our communities as we attempt to reconcile our faith and sexuality?
2)How can we engage in progressive and positive discourse on this and related issues with those outside of our community?
Join us as we explore these questions and more in a open discussion format at the next general meeting. Bring your stories, bring your questions, bring your ideas, and bring your opinions to share and help each other develop better understanding of our relationships to religion and spirituality….as well as the relationships religion and spirituality have with us, the LGBTQ people of the world.
