Join Q-WAVE in Manhattan Heritage Pride Parade (HOP) Preparation GM: June 18th, 7-9 pm! Sign-making and getting ready for THE DAY OF PRIDE!

June 8, 2010

It is our annual Heritage of Pride Parade down 5th Ave soon (June 27th, 2010)! In preparation for the Manhattan Pride Parade, we will be making signs and discussing how we can help to make the pride march utmost successful.

As you all know, Q-Wave will have the poongmul (Korean drumming) through NYU and many Q-Wave members; but we will still need every body possible in marching and maximizing QAPI LBTQ visibility!

Much help is needed in carrying signs, banner, fish kites and distributing postcards, etc.,

On the day of Pride March, you will receive a free rainbow-bandannas and a beautifully designed “Asian Pride in Full Color” T-shirt!

Come and join us in celebrating, empowering, and making visible the API lesbian, bisexual, trans and gender-variant community of New York City, and thank you all for making this community possible!

In this GM, we will be making signs to hold on the day of pride as well as discussing all the marching details for the day of Pride.

Please join us for the activism, for the fun, for the friends and for the community!
