Coffee Hour Feb 27th
February 25, 2011
Hi everyone,
February is a short month and it is time for our lively coffee hour again. Since last Coffee Hour at Hiroko’s Place was a success, I would like to hold it there again. The details are at the end of this message.
Now that I’ve been there once, I can say a few things about the place…. It’s really cute and eclectic. They have manga (Japanese comic books) on book shelfs and interesting art work on the floor. The parfaits are equally artistic looking.
So come over for a warm afternoon with warm friends.
There is steering committee strategic meeting on Sat Feb 26 which I plan to go. Hopefully, I will be able to relay you the state of q-wave affairs at Coffee Hour if you are interested in what kind of projects are going on in Q-wave.
Cheers,
Quail, Ryan and Zhou

Feb 18, 2011 GM: Dating and Relationships!
February 13, 2011
Hey Kids!
On Friday, February 18, please join us for another amazing, exciting, energizing, and fun General Meeting, again co-sponsored with SALGA!!!
The theme for this month’s General Meeting is DATING and RELATIONSHIPS!!!
Since this GM is right after Valentine’s Day, we thought it would be great to continue the momentum from last November’s Dating Game and Deeper Mingling GM by having a fun, lively, and interactive discussion on two of our favorite themes!
The meeting will start off with several Q-wave and SALGA members speaking very briefly about their own dating and relationship experiences. Then we will open it up for everyone to participate in the discussion!
Topics might include: how to date in NYC, monogamy vs. polyamory, long-term vs. short-term relationships, intra-racial and inter-racial dating, etc!!!
How fun is all that?!!
Especially in a safe, supportive atmosphere!
Everyone is welcome–single, partnered/coupled, etc!!!
See you there:
