2/28/2014: Kink in Our Culture: A Workshop

February 28, 2014

Kink in Our Culture: A Workshop
Friday, 2/28, 7pm-9pm at The New Church (114 E 35th St., Manhattan)

Kink relates to non-traditional sexually stimulating activities, including but not limited to Fetishes, Role Play, Bondage, D/s (Dominance/submission), S&M (sadism & masochism). This special workshop, facilitated by Karen Naimool, will explore how our Asian/South Asian/Pacific Islander (ASAPI) cultures and identities might shape our approaches to sex, relationships, and kink! Whether you’re experienced or just curious, come and let’s learn together in a judgment-free, supportive, and confidential space.

***This meeting is open to LGBT, queer, and questioning folks of ASAPI descent only.*** We intend to hold a future workshop that will welcome partners, lovers, and other allies for a conversation about our shared cultures of kink, but for now — thank you for respecting our space!
