Hello Q-wavers!
We are happy to announce the return of Coffee Hour this month!!!
If you got a postcard from us during Pride, or heard about it from a friend, and want to come see what Q-wave and Coffee Hours are like, this is a great opportunity to meet folks in a chill environment. If you’ve been to one or two events, it’s a great way to reconnect with Q-wave. If you are an old timer, well… come on down….what are you waiting for. =D
This month we are going back to our coffee roots. We’ve picked a cafe in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s a cool, laid back cafe with a great vibe..

Hello friends,
Boy… enough of this rainy weather!! Who is ready for some sun and fun?
Well…while I can’t predict what the weather will be like in on May 29, I think we can still have some fun regardless. I picked a really cool outdoor biergarten in Queens for this month Qwave Coffee Hour ( I think I am gonna have to change the name to Happy Hour soon). It was listed in Time out New York as one the best 50 spring bar.
It is an outdoor/ indoor space. It has a very easy breezy vibe. So old and new alike, come share a pitcher with me at this spacious outdoor lounge and enjoy spring.

Coffee Hour May 1st

Hello friends,
It’s time for Coffee Hour again. Coffee Hour for April will technically fall in on May 1st, which is next Sunday. ( I had to work this weekend…bummer..but the weather was not so good today anyway.) The next one after will be on May 29th.
We had a blast at Break last Coffee Hour. Spacious venue, free pool, great crowd, beer, lovely weather… and I could not have asked for more… except…let’s do it again there!!!
We continue to have new friends joining and participating in Coffee Hour each time. I want to thank people who have taken the time and venture out to come to the coffee hour in the past and invite all this cool location.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate again next Sunday.
I had a long week and I am working this weekend. So .. I am super psych to have Coffee Hour next Sunday and kick back with my fellow cool Q-wavers. If you not a Q-waver yet, come check us out. You won’t regret it.

Hi everyone,
The fun doesn’t have to be over just because the holiday season is over.
Let’s start the year right, starting with full filling your new year resolution of being social and keeping in touch with your queer friends folks! ( I made that resolution for you just now.) So, if you’ve been saying I want to check out q-wave or I haven’t been to q-wave in a while, now is the time.
We are gonna kick of Jan 2011 Coffee Hour at a new location in SOHO/ south village.
It’s been described a “cozy”, “adorable”, and “quirky”. And most importantly for me personally, it offers Japanese parfaits. (Guess losing weight is not one of my new year resolution.)
So, let’s cozy up with your tea and coffee, and come share some delicious Japanese snacks and appetizer with other friendly q-wavers at Hiroko’s Place. (Details below.)
